- Up for sale an original signed 1997 black and white photograph by Christian Tuempling entitled Star West 40s which is … more Up for sale an original signed 1997 black and white photograph by Christian Tuempling entitled Star West 40s which is a photographic abstraction creating a star shape out of buildings in New York City. The framed photograph in a simple black metal frame which measures 20.25" x 19.25" and the photograph itself measures 10.25" x 10.25". The title Star West 40s is written in pencil on the lower left and the artist signature and 97 is written on the lower right. Excellent condition. Photographs by Tuempling are in the Museum of the City of New York and the New York City Transit Museum. Also listed architectural abstractions by Tuempling entitled Torment and Double Chrysler - an image of the renown New York City building. less
