The desk is supported by gold crossed wood supports with a gilt finish. The top portion offers cubby-hole storage on either end which is hidden beneath rolling tambour doors. Behind the writing surface are additional letter slots and two slender drawers. Beneath the writing surface are three desk drawers. The drawers and ends are fitted with Campaign style hardware and handles. The top rests upon crossed carved wood "X" frames. less
