This sign was used in the United Kingdom for Trolley and Bus lines in the 1970s.
These mounted peices were sold by Room & Board 10 years ago. I purchased this one in the store; if you had ordered one you would request it by size and you wouild not know exactly which one would show up as they are all unique. They were only offered until they sold out.
Excellent quality frame and mounting; the sign is mounted on a black background and then framed behind a lightweight acrylic (non-glass) protective glazing.
Mounting wire on back for easy hanging.
While the peice is vintage, the black and white look could work well in a modern or industrial style home. less
