Model 2109/16/14
Designed by Gino Sarfatti, 1959 / 2018
This is an iconic design! This fixture was purchased in 2020 in New York City. Two globes cracked during installation but can be replaced for $400 each. This is a great deal on a very high-end chandleier.
Throughout his life, the sky inspired lighting master Gino Sarfatti. He was captivated by the perfect glow of the Moon, which influenced one of his most remarkable designs, echoing the natural beauty of this luminous satellite.
In 1959, Sarfatti introduced Le Sfere, a design that revolves around a singular luminous sphere. Its elegant simplicity features a blown opaline glass sphere supported by a painted aluminum ring, creating a refined embrace that enhances the luminaire's graphic appeal and unique aesthetic.
