Giancarlo Impiglia "The Party is Over" Modern Art Deco Rug 8/20 limited edition. Signed by the artist in both the bottom left hand corner on the front of the rug and on the back. Dated 1984.
This rare (only 80 were made) and highly decorative rug is in excellent condition, no stains or odors and has pristine color retention. Created in high quality wool with dense pile, this stunning artwork can also be wall hung.
Impiglia is an Italian born, New York based artist who is known for his modern Art Deco style. He has been active since the 1970s and has enjoyed an illustrious career, with pieces in The Museum of the City of New York, The Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Wilfredo Lam Center in Havana, Cuba. less
