The set of rattan chairs are designed by John McGuire and feature a Gothic lancet arch style back with an open fretwork design reminiscent of the Chippendale style of Asian Antiques. Two host armchairs + six side chairs round out a complete dining set. All exposed joints are lashed together with cream colored leather rawhide laces. Each chair has identical soft weight with white bamboo pattern. In good vintage condition, visible surface wear and condition are present and minimal, consistent with their vintage age + use. The table has a single base that consists of a bamboo rods with leather wrapped to form a single base; what the brand is renowned for. The large oval glass is custom, with a rounded + beveled edge. The table has minimal wear for its vintage age and use.
