Description: Chinese Queen Mother of the West Scroll, colored inks on heavy paper, mounted on a shimmering gold, grey and black, … more Chinese Queen Mother of the West Scroll, colored inks on heavy paper, mounted on a shimmering gold, grey and black, silk brocade in a dragon medallions pattern, signed, with numerous, varied, red seal marks and two inscriptions in black, xingshu script. The image size is 25.25" wide x 51.5" high. With a black silk makio and kakio at the top and black jikusaki at the bottom. The outer scroll cover is heavy raw silk. Circa early Republic of China era, no later than mid century.
