A classic, French country house, Bouillotte table lamp. Has two lights with a turn knob switch, 3 candlesticks and 2 hunting trumpets as added decor. Includes the original, pleated silk shade with gold braiding. These lamps were originally designed as a card game accessory. The bowl shaped base was used for storing game chips.
The metal is brass with alternating gold and silver. The column is fluted. The wiring is from the 1950s and works fine, but you might consider replacing the wiring, which may be a cost of $25. In excellent condition with period wear and patina, consistent with age and use. No major damage or repairs.
