Beni Mrirt rugs are made from 100% soft and high-quality sheep's wool, carefully gathered and maintained. These rugs are considered the diamonds of Moroccan carpet collections, thanks to their exceptional quality. At first glance, Beni Mrirt and Beni Ourain rugs may seem similar, but there are significant differences between them. The knot-tying technique of the Beni Mrirt rug is finer, with tighter weaving. The ornaments and color palettes also differ.

In addition to widely used geometric patterns, these rugs can be adorned with abstract compositions and traditional Berber symbols in various colors, ranging from black and brown to indigo and ochre.
