A fine example of the perfect combination between modesty and beauty. The design is simple, yet with well chosen proportions, making this Bauhaus style table lamp an attractive and desirable piece. It is well made in patinated metal and satin translucent glass. The warm and soft light it spreads is truly pleasant, and since it features both downlight and uplight it is highly functional as an atmospheric piece on a sideboard, table or desk. The round shade is made in metal, it is a part of a spherical element. The edge of the shade is thin, and nicely accentuates the sudden flatness of the internal glas circle. Also the base and rod that holds the shade, are simple yet elegant. The original switch and the rounded edge are the only present details on the base. The lamp is in good condition, with a nice patina showing signs of use and age.
