Pair of mycenaean amphoras h. 85 cm glazed terracotta maiolica 20th century handmade on the wheel with a majolica mouth, typical ancient jars of the eastern mediterranean. Originally, in greece they were used as containers for oil, olives and water. The origins of this shape are mycenaean, 1600 bc large model height 85 cm weight 55 kg external mouth diameter 33 cm internal mouth diameter 24 cm base diameter 30 cm maximum diameter 60 cm material terracotta note 01 21 horizontal grooves. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
