This 1930s Art Deco pedestal side table shows great proportions and quality. It was well made by a true craftsman, in beautifully aged solid oak and expressive red marble. The square top is well sized, with a subtle detail on the edge. This same chamfered detail can been seen on the bottom of the wooden construction that holds the marble top. The pedestal base has a square bottom, also with a nicely detailed edges. The main column is also in stained oak, showing the same modest details. Stand alone against the wall, or next to a sofa or armchair, or as a centre table in the hallway, this wonderful piece will make a great addition to the interior. less
