This fascinating baroque table from Switzerland impresses with its exceptional workmanship and impressive details. Made from solid walnut wood, the table combines the opulent elegance of the Baroque with practical functions. The central table top has an embedded slate top, which gives the table a special functional value.
The two side plates have inlay work, one as a chessboard and one as a mill game.
The artfully turned table legs and the crossed base reflect the opulent Baroque style. Particularly striking are the hand-carved heads on the legs, which are typical of this era and give the table an impressive look.
