Pino Sylvestri's artistry with glass and crystal is renowned in Italy and the world. He created a beautiful series of unique objet d'art, personified in this gorgeous hand-blown crystal single-bud flower vase. My wife Pauline a veteran of many elegant dinner parties came up with an excellent use other than a single rose bud decorative table feature. She squeezed a scoop of sorbet inside the flower holder and placed it on a plate with a spoon for her palate cleansing course. This was always a great conversation-maker. See picture.
