Set of two shell chairs designed in 1950 for Søborg Møbelfabrik. The shell chair distinguishes itself by the use of a plywood molding technique.
The chair consists of two wide and slightly curved teak shells, resting on an oak frame with angled legs. The chair belong to a line of furniture that Mogensen designer for Søborg furniture.
The chairs have been checked by our cabinetmaker to ensure that they are in good condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
