This is a very pretty clay parrot jug vase! Ceramic green parrot with textured feathers and handle on the back. Opening at the top and two openings at the yellow beak. Thick, heavy weight, can be used as a decoration, but also very sturdy and opening can fit a candle, or as a narrow vase. Research is conflicting - some indicate it is a Majolica pottery piece, others are indicating it is a Chinese Tang Dynasty style pottery (it doesn’t not have any marks).
Great condition- no chips, cracks, or crazing- very clean! Tip of tail was not painted- it is not chipped.
Measures: 9 1/2” tall, 6” long, 3” wide, 1” (opening) less
