Its appearance shows similarity to the work of George Nakashima, one of the greatest woodworkers of the midcentury era. The shape of this one-off is elegant and natural, and the wood grain of the single piece top is just gorgious. with the warm tone of the wood, it has a friendly and lively character. The tapered legs are positioned slightly angled, giving this table a floating look. It has great proportions, it is well sized yet with a pleasant lightness to it.
