It represents … more Three interesting brutalist sculptures made from honeycomb panels and wood. The term “Brutalism” is mainly used in architecture. It represents the dominant architecture between 1960 and the early 1980s. Brutalism is characterized by the use of exposed concrete, the emphasis on construction, simple geometric shapes and usually very rough elaboration and structure of the buildings. Our sculptures are reminiscent of this type of construction. Unknown origin. The honeycomb panels and the wooden parts were sawn and screwed together in a rather rudimentary manner. The gray paint gives the objects the appearance of concrete. The sculptures are very rough and by no means finely carved. This gives them their very own language. Very good condition, no damage. Brown base plate made of MDF, 30 x 30cm. Height approx. 30 to 40cm each. less
