They are without wobble, the drawer of the desk opens easily. The desk has some rust underneath, it is pictured, and some general signs of age, mostly pictured. There are a few small, less than 1 cm spots on the desktop which appear to be paint. The chair also has tiny spots of what appears to be paint, and some general signs of age. There is a spot of damage at the bottom of the chair, approximately 1" in diameter, it is pictured. The chair could be reupholstered easily to fit the buyers style. Overall, good vintage condition. less

This is a fantastic desk and chair set from the 1950's, featuring a white metal topped desk trimmed in black with a teal green face and a white drawer, metal legs and an adorable matching chair with metal legs and upholstered in greens blues and teals.
The desk measures 40" by 25" and is 29" tall. It is structurally sound, but has a few signs of age and wear, pictured and described in CONDITION NOTES.
The chair is 14 1/2 by 15" and 30" tall overall. It has a makers mark from HOWELL CHROMASTEEL, ST.CHARLES, ILLINOIS. There is some minor damage below the seat, and some minor staining on the chair seat. It is pictured, and described in CONDITION NOTES.
This is a cute little desk and chair for a home office, a small guest bedroom, or city apartment. The vibe is definitely Mid Century, but it would provide a sense of eclectic playfulness in many different style settings. less
