These chairs are beautifully … more Stunning and rare set of 6 vintage French Louis XVI or Directoire Style fauteuil dining chairs. These chairs are beautifully carved and painted greenish yellow with brown antiquing annd other artful distressing. Upholstery, while still serviceable, has some wear, tear and stains. Chairs would benefit from reupholstering. They measure approximately 25” wide and deep and 39” tall each. One of the chairs appears taller due to removable plastic and felt pads on the feet. Frames are sturdy and in good condition, with some paint chips. These chairs were previously used as dining chairs. They are very comfortable and beautiful and a set of 6 is hard to come by. less
