The buttons might indicate that the basket was once used as a stash for sewing supplies but it can really be used to store just about anything. The monkey has a teak head, leather ears, rope body and a hot pink top for a pop of color. Manufactured by Enesco, an American company, though reminiscent of Kay Bojesen’s Danish designs from the 1950’s.
