We've taken a piece of history and transformed it into a stunning, unique piece for your home. A fun table to have a game of chess or checkers.

Rich history: Originally a thread table used by seamstresses in the late 19th century, this piece has a rich history that we maintained by keeping the original J&P Coats Thread board.

Solid playing surface: The vibrant red and black checkerboard is covered with a heavy coat of Acrylic coating to prevent wear.

Sturdy construction: Built to last, this table features a solid wood frame and a beautifully turned pedestal base. The curved bottom is original and has been work flat in some areas, adding to the aged beauty and charm of the piece.

Original features and materials: The table maintains the original construction and amazing handcrafting. The walnut construction is consistent with the era of the furniture and has been kept in it's unfinished state on the upper box area. less
