It's a Nain rug, featuring beautiful, repetitive pattern consisting out of the birds placed in a way creating a kaleidoscope like shape in the center of the rug. The rug is done in 100% wool, in navy blue and cream. Hand knotted in 1960s. Good vintage condition with some signs of time and use, including tiny patches where the wool fall off the top, as well small spots where there have been repairs in the past. No rips or open damages that would develop in the future. When purchased the rug will be carefully wrapped up and packed in a way to avoid any damages in transport.
