Galanos often used costume jewelry in his runway shows that he would attach his label to. This piece could be attributed to Roger Scemema, who designed jewelry for Jacques Fath, Balmain, Schiaparelli, Lanvin, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent. Scemema did similar resin beads for YSL and resin pieces for Charles Jourdan.
