This vintage lucite chair with recently upholstered seat is attributed to American furniture designer Charles Hollis Jones. Each chair displays a lucite trapezoid-shaped back attached to an arched arm and two arched solid clear Lucite, which create legs. Each chair also includes four chrome caster wheels, just in case, that can be attached to the chair to raise the height.
Jones is known for his pioneering.
FYI: Lucite is higher-grade acrylic plastic, it is hard, water-resistant, and lightweight.
Lucite was created in the mid-1800s and was finally patented and branded “Plexiglas” in 1933.
