Born in Belgium, Georges Pelletier graduated from the National School of Applied Arts and Crafts in Paris and moved to France in 1961. Roche Bobois was the first house to produce its ceramic lighting fixtures. In 1973, Georges Pelletier permanently established his workshop in the Suquet district of Cannes.

In the catalog of major auctions, his most famous ceramic sculptures are decorated with balls skewered on steel rods. Present in numerous foundations and public and private collections, the works of Georges Pelletier are permanently exhibited in dedicated galleries in New York, Shanghai, Los Angeles.
