A very old rustic beauteful vintage fruit bowl in a soft shape with green grooved handles in a beautiful nordic design by Upsala Ekeby.
Upsala-Ekeby AB was a Swedish company founded in 1886 and became known for its production of ceramics, glass and porcelain.
During the 1910s, Upsala-Ekeby began to hire artists to create more beautiful everyday goods, which led to an increase in the popularity and status of their products.
The company continued to produce ceramics and other products until 1977, when the factory in Uppsala was closed.
Today, Upsala-Ekeby's products are highly valued and sought after by collectors all over the world. The diameter between the handles is 33.5 cm.
