Description: Mona Morales Schildt is regarded as one of Sweden's most talented glass designers. Her objects can be seen in museums … more Mona Morales Schildt is regarded as one of Sweden's most talented glass designers. Her objects can be seen in museums and art galleries all over the world. Her work always holds an extremely high standard when it comes to shape, color and standard. This beautiful and very rare dark amber or peach colored handblown perfume flacon is a part of her most famous and exclusive series known as 'Ventana' crystal glass. Which she made for the prestigious Kosta Glas, Sweden in the 1960s. It is 8cm (3.14") high and around 5cm (1.96") wide and 4cm (1.57") deep. It is signed and in a really good condition, note that the stopper has some damages at the very end, reflected in the price). This will be perfect as a very nice gift.

Sommerso glass is a very advanced technique used in order to create several layers of glass often with different contrasting colors or materials inside a single object, giving the illusion of “immersed” colors that lay on top of each other without mixing. Here she has used and amber or pale dusty pink colored glass and covered it with clear crystal and then has the flacon been cut in a brilliant way which gives optical illusions.
