The two conch shells are real and have been hand-carved in the openings. Each has a hand-made display featuring a bisque figurine of a little girl holding a lamb and a little boy saluting in a sailor suit nestled among smaller shells. The colors are soft pastel and the bottoms have been carved flat to stand upright.

Each shell stands approximately 6" tall by 5" in diameter, and each weighs a little over 1 lb.
