Description: 19th century painted chest of drawers circa 1870. Substantial Baroque revival Swedish chest of drawers. Presented in later paint which … more 19th century painted chest of drawers circa 1870. Substantial Baroque revival Swedish chest of drawers. Presented in later paint which is best described as a very light grey or a dirty white. Plain top with moulded edge, below which are 3 drawers of equal proportion that open on the key. Handles could be retro fitted if required. Working locks and key. Standing on 2 front carved feet and block feet to the reverse. Oak lined drawers, making this a chest of some weight. Minor losses and fading to paintwork. 1 indentation to top edge and old losses to 1 front foot, these are shown in the photographs. Strong, sturdy and ready for everyday use. less
