The mayan/aztec design that is drawn is symbolic of a heritage that is lost and past. It is signed ADM Hecho en Mexico Sterling Tane 925. It almost has a Grecian meets Mayan design to it. It has great weight and size to it for a sterling silver box. This is vintage and from the 50's. This is a beautiful mid century modern box suitable for any placement on a cocktail table, console, library table, entry table etc. This item includes restricted materials and can not be sold outside of the contiguous United States. The silver smith that designed and made this amazing sterling silver box is Tane. This is heavy, polished, substantial and a beautiful illustrative symbolic box that are now very heard to find on this market. See less
