This very large oil painting on canvas (4'w x 5'h) depicts a Central Park carriage driver and his equine partner looking for the next customer on a cobblestone street with an explosion of green, gold, orange, rose, white and various shades of gray in the trees, carriage and roadway. Initially sold by the Church Door Gallery in Califon, New Jersey for $6,500. Solid wood 2.5" inset frame of dark iron color.
