- This is a GORGEOUS set of 4 lidded serving pieces (so a total of 8 pieces included) that are glazed … more This is a GORGEOUS set of 4 lidded serving pieces (so a total of 8 pieces included) that are glazed a buttery yellow and creamy white. These were made by Cecil Jones (1869 – 1948) who founded La Mirada pottery in Los Angeles, California, in 1935. The company produced Chinese Modern style decorative items like vases, bowls, planters, and figurines featuring brightly colored glazes. Included in this set is 1 Teapot 7.5 x 5.25 x 7.5"h, 1 larger lidded dish 11 x 8.5 x 5.5"h and 2 identical lidded dishes 9.5 x 7 x 6"h. Please note the fantastic handles!! And the beautifully rounded shape of the vessels! These details make the La Mirada collection really something extraordinary and highly collectable. less
