Fabricated in one of the many small ceramic factories in the Principality of Monaco. The region has been famous since 1893 for its potters. But it is the post-war period, exactly 1946, that marks the emergence of numerous workshops specialized in this art. The best known: Azureart, Cérart, Ceramica, Céraflor, Cerdazur, Monacéram, Monazur, etc. The majority of the decoration of the pieces are floral, but the marine world also inspired more rare pieces. Rich with handcrafted techniques of a bygone era, which evokes the joy of living of the post-war years.
