The lamp consists of a cast iron base plate on which the lamp is placed. The lamp arm can be adjusted via a ball joint at the bottom and a swivel joint at the top. The design with the 360 ​​degree rotation of the lamp arm is striking.
The socket is also made of brass - type B22 (bayonet socket). The lamp is switched via an old Bakelite cord switch. The rest of the electrical system was replaced. The cable originally ran in the lamp arm, but unfortunately the cable duct is no longer usable - probably due to old cable residue. Therefore the cable now runs outside. A modern LED rod bulb with a matching bayonet socket is included.
A very solid and heavy lamp from the late 19th century / early 20th century, made in France.
