Description: This outstanding fixture is probably the work of John Blades of Ludgate Hill, London. Blades was one of the premier … more This outstanding fixture is probably the work of John Blades of Ludgate Hill, London. Blades was one of the premier makers in Regency England. The gilt bronze frame supports six arms and six internal lights; the internal lights give the chandelier an amazing golden glow at night. 90% of the prisms are original and the replaced prisms are old exact copies. Crown is topped by five-point bronze stars with crystal buttons. Heavy cut crystal bobeches are hung with Georgian rule prisms. Newly rewired (US standards) by us. .Appropriate chain and ceiling canopy are included with the fixture. NOTE: We are proud that this chandelier was featured in the dining room of the 2017 "Southern Style Now/Traditional Home Showhouse" in Savannah, GA. See photo of the room it was in! less
