Structurally sound, extraordinarily heavy. Some wear and fading commensurate with its age. There are signs of age on the base, some examples are pictured. The glass shade is nearly without flaw. Overall, very well tended. Piece has been lightly cleaned for pictures. Works perfectly at test time. The wiring is likely original, and so a once over by a lighting professional is strongly suggested, as with any vintage or antique lamp in order to ensure its continued life.

This is a stunning lamp with six cast iron panels decorated in the beaux arts nouveau style and encasing creamy caramel colored slag glass and standing atop a similarly decorated cast iron base.
Acquired from a family run lamp shop in New York City, it has been in the care of its last owner since the 1990's.
It has been beautifully tended, and works perfectly.
There are some signs of its age, some are pictured, but they in no way detract from the beauty of the piece.
This lamp looks equally elegant lit and unlit. It would be a perfect piece for a console table in a foyer, or a signature piece in any eclectic living space.
It stands 27" overall, 21" from the base to the top, the base is 10" in diameter and the shade measures 23" around. less
