Monumental set of fourteen bespoke regency style casino chairs designed by Soane Britain for a Samantha Todhunter installation. The chairs feature a hardwood frame with an iconic cockfighting design back and a polished nickel butlers handle. The custom chairs are upholstered in "electra" leather which has a metallic silver and gold finish that captures the light at different angles for a shimmery finish. The leather has an intentionally aged patina on the finish accented by polished nickel brass tack nail heads. The legs are finished in a black lacquer. The chairs are heavy and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Hand-made chairs with a distinctive profile.
