"Reflections" is a soft and impressionistic abstract expressionist oil painting on canvas by Trixie Pitts. The palette is somewhat monochromatic and muted, but still has a very wide range of color including several different warm and cool gray tones as well as white, very pale blue and a hint of yellow, green and pink. This painting has a soft sensuality and yet it is very bold at the same time. The bold brushwork and different thicknesses of paint add to the movement and depth. See photos as to how it looks to scale in various different settings once re-stretched. Looks equally nice vertically as well as horizontally, making it very versatile. The 1.5" edge is painted matte white. Certificate of Authenticity. Signed and dated on front and back.
