This antique carved wooden panel measures an impressive 3+ feet long (40" to be exact) and 10.5" tall (and is .5" deep). It is extremely solid and barn-find fresh! I'm uncertain of the wood type though it appears to be maple. What makes it most interesting is its words: ANTIQUES!
The panel is painted white and features the word 'Antiques' hand-painted in a gorgeous gothic/blackletter calligraphy font (looks like Old English to me!) in black paint with a small arrow pointing to the right. There are two modern ring hooks screwed into the top for ease of hanging.

This lovely piece of folk art signage is likely ~50+ years old (though not guaranteed) with visible wear throughout as expected; it is *barn fresh* and has not been cleaned. I believe the majority of the dirt and discoloration will come free with a gentle scrubbing, however this is being sold as-is in case you want that very worn, rustic look. It's a lovely, striking piece that would look amazing hung in most any style of decor. A must-have for a vintage dealer! less
