- This desk is in very good structural condition with properly functioning drawers, nearly no dents to be found and very … moreThis desk is in very good structural condition with properly functioning drawers, nearly no dents to be found and very little corrosion. The piece has been used for decades at an office thus it does have some wear and dings to the paint. Top to bottom conditions: The top surface is virtually spotless, with only the slightest scratches to be found. There is no damage, discoloration or the typical cigarette burn marks. The rubber edging is fine. There is a little wear at the right, rear and the rest looks good. The pull-out trays both open when given a slight push as they should, and they are good overall with normal wear present. The drawers are very good overall. They all open and close properly, and the handles are corrosion free. There is some paint where on the fronts, and the insides look nice for the age. There are a few inches of chipped paint where the chair goes in, near the top. Since the rest of the desk looks relatively good, we had the paint matched at Sherwin Williams and attempted to blend in these areas. The paint did not match as it should, so it was removed, and the two areas were painted black. The "matched" paint was used on the plate on the back, as it was close enough to the original to be used for an area under the desk (from the front). The key is not included as it went missing years ago. less
