Bordallo Pinheiro has been in business since 1884, but I believe these bowls date to the 1930's based on the their incised hallmarks.

Extraordinarily good condition considering their age and use. I find only two tiny flakes to the glaze, one on each bowl. Please examine the magnified photos carefully, it appears as though each flake has been touched up, very hard to see. NO chips, cracks or crazing. These bowls are quite a bit thicker than modern cabbage bowls. Also, did I mention there's NO crazing to the glaze which is so common to newer pieces of Bordallo Pinheiro?

Each bowl measures about 5 inches across and 1.625" tall. These bowls would make a very cute and usable addition to any majolica collection. Thanks for looking!!! less
