It was drawn using pen on very simple drawing paper. and measures 8.5" x 11. This piece is part of a collection of inherited works from her collection.


Nona was a midwestern artist, born in Glasford, Illinois and attended Illinois Weseleyn University, in Bloomington, IL, where she received her BA in Fine Art in 1950. She then went on to study printmaking at the University of Colorado in Boulder where she was the first woman to receive her MFA in her program in 1952. She taught printmaking and art history at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois in the mid 50's and 60's. Her work has been shown throughout the USA. Pieces have hung in the Toledo Museum of art and sold to major corporations and private individuals across the country. less
