It's been somewhat "taken for granted," you might say; the maid wasn't quite as attentive as I would have been. Liquids that spilled on the top were apparently not tended to, and where they seeped over the edges of the glass there are the remains of some rust spots (I've sanded most of them away, you or your maid can do the rest). The glass, which is doubtless original, is a hefty 3/8 thick and has one scratch about 3-4 inches long. When that side is put on the bottom it's barely noticeable, especially if you're pretending it's not there. I'd say if you spend about an hour taking out the rest of the rust and cleaning up the legs and stretcher, you'll have a very handsome table. My reasonable price reflects your willingness to do that!
