The black leather has a beautiful aged patina that only occurs with the early versions. The chrome on both chairs is in very good condition, with minimal rust around the sticker. Leather with normal signs of wear.

Both armchairs are signed Marcel Breuer on the backrest. On one model, the GAVINA sticker is almost completely present; on the second model, only the residue from the sticker can be seen. The pair were originally purchased together and are a perfect match.

Manufactured in 1925 by Thonet, restored in 1964 by Gavina, after the Gavina company was taken over by Knoll Int. (1968), manufactured by Knoll-International (to this day).
