This David Hockney very rare vintage 1988 lithograph print framed Metropolitan Museum of Art exhibition poster " Still Life with Flowers " 1987, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The museum poster print is published by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York on the occasion of the " David Hockney : A Retrospective " exhibition, printed in The United States in 1988 in an unnumbered limited edition. David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to The Pop Art Movement of the 1960's. He is considered one of the most influential British artists of The 20th Century. His artworks have commanded greater popular acclaim than any other Contemporary British artist. The Pop Art Expressionist style artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print vintage lithograph print framed exhibition poster measures 26 1/4" W X 32 1/2" H X 1" D.
It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern navy blue satin finish metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent condition. the poster print is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age, light to moderate signs of handling, and some light to moderate visible surface wear.
