This Maurice De Vlaminck Fauvism offset lithograph print French museum poster " Restaurant De La Machine A Bougival " 1905, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.

Maurice De Vlaminck ( 1876 - 1958 ) was a major Twentieth Century French painter. Along with Andre Derain, Henri Matisse, and Georges Braque, he is considered one of the principal figures in The Fauvism Art Movement. They all exhibited their highly innovative paintings at the controversial Salon D'Automne in 1905. The vivid, unnatural colors led the art critic Louis Vauxcelles to name their works as " Les Fauves ", or " The Wild Beasts ", marking the start of The Fauvist Movement. Artworks by De Vlaminck are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The French museum poster print measures 27 1.2" W X 19 5/8" H. It is printed on smooth finish premium paper stock with vibrant ink colors in a satin finish.
