Beautiful artwork. The graphic work is created with the intaglio technique (etching) with a 34x28 cm zinc plate and printed on 50x70 cm Rosaspina Fabriano paper. It is a monotype, where the color is added during the coloring phase directly on the matrix and with the shaded effect, so each work is different, a truly beautiful and rare piece in the field of graphic art. The numbering is Roman when the works are original and colourful. The edition with Arabic numerals is for single-color prints. Will be sent flat and insured. Please note: This is edition no. I/XXV.
Massimo Petrucci was born in 1951 in Rome where he lives and works. Painter and graphic artist, he began his artistic activity in 1973. He has exhibited in Rome, Paris, London, Tokyo and other parts of the world in galleries, museums and foundations. The Image, the Sign, the Color, happily cross some moments of European Abstractionism, American Abstract Expressionism and ironically American PopArt. The interest and fascination for Pre-Alphabetical "writings" guide the symbolic and imaginative pictorial elegance of a new research present here in intaglio and woodcut works. In 1972, from the direction of the MOMA in New York, he received considerable appreciation for his work.
