Purchased in the late 1980s from Frederick P. Victoria & Sons in Manhattan, this gorgeous antique chandelier is in excellent condition with only minor losses to the gilding, which can easily be regilded. Neoclassical in the Louis XVI style. The symmetry and scale of the piece makes it very versatile and able to be used in a variety of home styles and room locations. I have only seen one other like it over the past 44 years. It is a rare light fixture.
