Illuminate your space with this extraordinary antique brass torchiere table lamp, a stunning fusion of artistry and mythology that brings to life men, animals, and fantastical creatures influenced by Egyptian hieroglyphics.
At its center, stands a solid brass post intricately adorned with a stunning 3D relief of a dragon, that slithers gracefully around its entire length,
The lamp's 3-sided pyramidal base is a masterpiece in itself, divided by three ornately crafted corner pieces. Each inch of the base is a tapestry of textural etched hieroglyphic scenes, set against a woven, haphazard branched pattern in the background.
As you gaze upon the pyramid scenes, you'll encounter a wolf fiercely biting a large serpent, in a dramatic struggle. Nearby, a crouching man wields a sword, flanked by two attentive wolves.
A dynamic depiction of a man leaping after a bird unfolds before your eyes, while the bird below is flanked by two wolves.
A serene tableau follows and features a wolf and a bird, both poised in a moment of harmony. In another scene, two wolves and a serpent share a glance.
The corner scenes offer their own vivid narratives: a man with a wolf's head stands amid a flower and two birds. In another, a warrior holds a sword aloft in his left hand, commanding attention over a scene that includes another man cradling his own severed head with his right arm, against his body. And then there are the three birds, a small serpent, and a wolf with a man's head, each detail meticulously etched to enrich the storytelling.
Crowning this artistic creation is a copper-toned brass bowl-like shade holder, featuring a delicate perforated lattice designed to secure the tall frosted glass chimney shade, which narrows to a clear glass border on top. This design allows the warm light to filter through softly, casting enchanting patterns that dance across your walls.
This art piece with its clean lines and ornate etchings allows it to complement many interior design schemes less
